For extension the work permit, the officer from Office of Foreign Workers Administration, Department of Employment doesn't have condition of the foreigner's salary .The condition of the salary as a condition for extension his/her visa. If the foreigner doesn't extend a visa, he/she will not be able to extend their work permit.

Investor must have evidence of remittance or money transfer from Bank of Thailand in the amount at least 10 million baht for 2 year permit.

The required documents are as follows:

  1. The application form (Tor.Thor.2) and 3 photographs of front view and 5x6 cm. In size (taken not more than 6 months)
  2. A passport with 1 copy of all pages showing the valid non-immigration visa
  3. The Letter of Employment (as per the official form)
  4. Evidence of remittance or money transfer from Bank of Thailand in the amount of not less than Baht 2 million (The Bank of Thailand Form Tor.Thor.3)

In order to receive services at One Stop for Visa and Work Permit Service Center at Chamchuri Square Building, Bangkok, an applicant who is a manager, expert or professional obtaining special rights under the specific laws :- Proleum Act / Board of Investment Act / Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand Act, and his/her spouse or children as dependants, or the applicant must work in a juristic person having a paid-up registered capital or working capital of no less than 30 million Thai Baht.
