On May 28, 2025, Miss Wanlapa Nunual,Investment Promotion Officer, Professional Level, welcomed a group of 14 faculty members and students from Stamford International University. The group participated in a briefing on the overview of the investment promotion application process under the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), including the rights and privileges granted to promoted projects, as well as exploring investment opportunities and the feasibility of doing business in Thailand for foreign investors.
During the session, Ms. Walapa Nunnual delivered welcome remarks and introduced the roles and responsibilities of the BOI in supporting investors interested in establishing businesses in Thailand. She provided an overview of investment incentives, promotional policies, targeted industries, the types of businesses eligible for promotion, the application procedures, and various services offered by the BOI. The session also included a summary of Thailand’s investment landscape and guidance on how to contact relevant agencies, including an introduction to the Thailand Investment and Expat Services Center (TIESC) and other external agencies, aimed at facilitating foreign investors in setting up and operating their businesses in Thailand.
