On November 14, 2024, you met with Mrs. Cherdchan Arunrat, Director of One Start One Stop Investment Center from the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) You welcomed five representatives from FAWSN Group, China, and two partners from BGAC in Thailand to attend a session on investment promotion measures and policies. Mr. Jerdchan Arunrat, Senior Investment Promotion Officer, provided a comprehensive overview of investment opportunities in Thailand, the role of the Board of Investment (BOI) in promoting investments, and the rights and incentives available to investors. He also introduced the key industrial sectors currently receiving promotion support and presented examples of countries and businesses that have successfully invested in Thailand. In his presentation, Mr. Jerdchan highlighted special measures aimed at enhancing competitiveness, such as investment incentives in target industries, and informed the participants about the BOI\'s foreign offices, including plans to open an additional office in China. He also discussed policies and government agencies related to the automotive industry to attract further investment in Thailand. Furthermore, Mr. Jerdchan introduced various services offered by the BOI, such as the One-Stop Service Center (OSOS) located at Chamchuri Square HQ BIZ PORTAL, online systems, and the role of the Thai Business Development Department, which facilitates industry linkages and matchmaking between manufacturers and buyers. He also mentioned the BOI’s involvement in organizing events like SUBCON Thailand.
The session also included information on how to contact the BOI’s offices in China, specifically in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The attendees were Chinese investors from the automotive industry who sought detailed information on Thailand\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s investment promotion policies to aid in their decision-making process regarding future investment expansion.
